seedless South African oranges. These things are tight! I now like oranges. cold weather. I love being able to wear jeans and a t-shirt and maybe a hoodie and not feel like dying. having shelter from the cold weather, because it would really suck to be subjected to it 24/7. the library. For a county library, Bedford has a good selection, even if I have to transfer a lot of things here. being able to read and write. Something so easy to take for granted.
Pooter is sitting in my lap and is not happy that I am reaching over him to type. Excuse me.

HALLOWEEN, DUH!!! The brilliant idea and arrogance of going up to someone's house and demanding candy from them. Horror movies. There's probably something seriously wrong with me for loving them so much, but they are irresistable to me. Hi-C Fruit Punch. I could really go for some right now. Metformin. My insulin levels have come down from 87 (in August) to 25 (last week)!! However, 25 is still above normal, my doctor says. I still don't understand all the levels and intricacies, and don't know the terminology to look it up online.

Bookworm - I play this almost every night before I go to bed Converge's Jane Doe. This album blew me away when I first heard it. Although that feeling has worn off a bit, I still consider it one of my all-time favorite albums. When I think back to that time, I remember driving around Lake Vista, going here or there, with the volume at an unreasonable level. I remember the friendships, and the losses, too, but that's okay. I get this very subtle feeling in my chest and an undetectable phantom smell when I think about that time. having a car. My favorite place to listen to music is in the car--it's where I do most of my listening, in fact; my last.fm isn't completely accurate. I used to drive around listening to music. When I started learning to drive I would sometimes sneak out at night, taking my mom's car, and would go to "the Scary Place." I even made a mix specifically for going there. It's out in the country, a windy gravel road. You have to cross what seems like a draw-bridge, very old and creaky, barely big enough for your car, no guard rails. The road winds around and on your left is a sea of corn stalks that loom above your head. To the right: a usually-empty pasture. The road winds a bit and you cross rail-road tracks. You can turn left, toward a house with a massive barn and a lampost that casts eerie shows about the property. Or you can go straight for a mile or less where the road ends. Often times I would park, open the sunroof, climb out and lie on top of the car, listening to Black Heart Procession, Three Mile Pilot, and whatever else was on that mix. I'd gaze at the stars and reflect upon life, and that was therapy to me. Cheez-Its. Snack attack, mother fucker!! (Now I want to watch Lazy Sunday so badly!) my new gynecologist who listens to me and doesn't tell me to lose weight. How refreshing!
